I just wanted to let my readers know that I am still alive. First I got my Author account through American Chronicle and I was pretty busy setting it up with my information, and such. Then I got sick. Yesterday was painful, and today I am barely feeling better. The headache pain has faded some, and it’s much more tolerable. My throat, not so much.
As soon as I feel a little better, things will go back to normal. Sorry for the posting delays.
No time is a good time to get sick!

Since the beginning of Demandez L’Ange, lots of changes have occurred. However, I have been very assiduous as to how I wanted to grow this blog. Just as much as I love Ask Angel, I enjoy blogging about my every day life. That’s probably the only thing that has not changed. Sure, many features have come and gone. From trivia to the most recent product review set up I had going.
There is another change I would like to implement:
No more multi-topic posts!
With each post that I wrote had a variety of topics within, it hasn’t helped any with the growth of this blog. I am going to separate everything by making individual posts for each topic that I want to cover. It will even things out a little, I am hoping.
The one word title will stay the same, just as it has here. I just won’t define it anymore. Instead I will use the word in my post, in the context that it is intended, and underline it when it has been used. Just as I did with the word I used here. It’s up to you if you want to find out the definition.
After all, a big part of why I did this is so I could learn something new and you will too if you look up the meaning for yourself. It’s good for you!
I would like to use a photo with my posts still, but only when it relates to what I am posting about. I might have to move to stock photos for some of the pictures I use or there will be times where the post won’t have a photo.
Most of all, I hope everyone enjoys the slight changes I intend to put into action - starting today. If they go smoothly, then they will stick around for a while. Of course, like anything, I will probably adjust things a little until I have the pattern I enjoy most.
Enjoy your weekend!

I just wanted to warn everyone that because we are still in the clean out process of the old place I most likely will not be able to do Product Review Saturday tomorrow or next Saturday. It’s just in case. I am probably going to drop the Inspiring Business Sunday completely, though. Too much is going on in my life and no one really seemed to be all that into it anyway.
I want to get back to normal soon, we’re just not ready yet. That is if I decide to even bring back the product review feature. After all, it wasn’t all that popular either. We’ll see.

I took Aubree outside to play today and we came across this frog. Isn’t he cute? I could hardly believe that he sat there and let me put my phone so close to him so I could get this picture.

As a work at home mom there is so much that I do, and so many things that I think others would relate to if I chatted about it. Normally if I decide to take on a new personal writing task I do it here but this time I decided to go a different route. I have created an account at Xomba called mompreneur and from there I hope to write about my adventures as a mompreneur, gain some new interest in all of my websites (as well as my writing services) and just all around try a new route in my work at home quest.
If you’re an aspiring work at home anyone, or just interested in my adventures as one, please stop by my Xomba account and check out what I have to say. I hope to update it as regularly as possible. It will always be topic specific to me as a mompreneur and other work at home issues I feel like chatting about.
Of course this does not mean I won’t mention anything work related here, I still will. Think of mompreneur at Xomba as wahm related articles.
Demandez L’Ange will always be my personal blog where I can chat about my feelings on everything in between Ask Angel and life.

Updates
I tell you what, I will not be able to take this back to normal anytime soon. Not until everything is over. I am going to give the dirt… We’re in the moving process. That is why I’m so busy. Over the next week, actually, I won’t be here at all. I really am just too busy. This is the last post you’ll see from me until I am safely tucked into the new home.
I’m sorry, I don’t have time to write and pack at the same time. We will get back to normal as soon as we’re safely packed into the new place and my internet it set up there. If I don’t put this on hold, I will never be able to concentrate on what I write as I need to nor would I get what I needed done for the move.
I will be back as soon as possible though. I hate leaving this unwritten for so long. But you’ll know that once I start writing again, I am safely moved. So that is a bonus. Count on it being almost 2 weeks before you hear from me again.
Thanks for understanding.

Due to that thing I have been talking about, and unable to really say anything about, we will be discontinuing Product Review Saturday and Inspiring Business Sunday, until it is all done. Everything should be back to normal by the end of the month. So it won’t take much longer.
I will continue to post personal posts, web walking, Word Nerd quotes, and so on. I will just have to cut back on the special features because I will be too busy for the extra things.
Once it’s all said and done, I’ll be able to finally talk about what the big secret is. So be patient!

I found this yarn at Big Lots yesterday for only $1.50. I bought the last 2 they had and I am now working on a scarf for myself. In the photo it looks more blue than it does purple, but it does have a hint of purple in it and I love that. When I am done with it I want to try to design a way for me to knit a little skull that I can stitch to it in one corner. I have an idea how I am going to do that, but I am going to hold off until I am done, before I draw it out.

This is the toy that the x-ray man gave to Aubree after he was done x-raying her knee. She loves this bird and spends a lot of time playing with it. It’s supposed to be a Red-Breasted Robin named Early. After all, it is the Early bird that catches the worm.

You may have noticed a new button at the bottom of pages and posts? I set up the plugin yesterday. It is a way for you to bookmark or share any of my posts that you may enjoy.
While I am thinking of it, you can also find me on twitter. If you’re there, I would love to have some new followers and some new people to follow. Check me out, I am under angelashupe.
One last change I made yesterday, as well, would be the link setup. If you’ve bookmarked any of our pages, the permalinks have changed to a format that would be http://www.demandezlange.com/THE YEAR/TITLE. It has shortened our permalinks, of course, but I mostly made the change because I was having link problems after upgrading Wordpress.

This is the download button on the Wordpress download page. If you were wondering why we were down for a little bit earlier today, it’s because we were updating our website to the new Wordpress platform. If you have not done so yet, it can be downloaded from here. It’s not a huge difference from 2.5, but I do enjoy the changes. The word count has to be my favorite new feature.

As you can see from today’s photo I upgraded Wordpress for all of my blogs today. You have no idea how long that process is. I never thought it would end. It took most of the day. It’s done now, at least. Now I can work on the other things I need to write for the night.

I’m guessing you noticed that I didn’t get a post up on Thursday. I was hoping I would be able to, but I really didn’t get a chance. I had to go to town that morning and when I got home, I went straight to work. Once I was done it was late and I has a vicious headache that made it really hard to concentrate on anything. I still have a bit of it now, but thankfully it has faded enough to not affect me too badly. I try hard not to miss posts, but unfortunately I can’t always avoid it.

Today I wanted to make use of my time so I decided to start on an article idea that I had. Once it’s done I intend to pass it around to different free article directories with resource links back to my websites as a kind of promotion. I think it has a lot of potential and should help bring in more people to Write To Press as well as Ask Angel and here. Without giving it completely away the article is based around a work-at-home styled topic. Something I would hope I know something about considering I do work from home.

I bought a new bathing suit. It had been so hot, I have needed a new one desperately, and most of all I wanted to take Aubree outside to play in the sprinkler. None of which has happened yet. Today was the first day I was going to get a chance, and it rained. Tomorrow has a potential for rain also. Lets not forget Monday too!
Where has all this rain come from?
On top of that our lawn needs mowed pretty badly. Unfortunately with all that heat we’ve had lately, it’s something I have actively avoided. It’s hot enough sitting. Why do I want to move around more than I have to under the steaming sun? Either this rain will flash burn the grass under the sun or make it grow, a lot. I am hoping for it to kill the grass off.

Holy crap were the two words that came to mind when I read this article about a man being charged over $11k for 2 months of internet from Verizon. The average person knows 50mbs are not that much, but obviously this poor man was duped by the sales man. I am glad the news reporter was able to do something for this man, getting his bill waived.
—
Then there was this other thing I read during the week that even made me second guess my typing skills. What if there were no letters on the keys? Would you be able to still type out everything correctly?
I vote, no. Even though I don’t look at the keys while I type, I do look at them when placing my fingers. I have also had moments where I put my fingers on the wrong keys to start and would type something along the lines of, “98hrewkjnfdoy” before catching myself. At the asking price of $129, I will pass.

Today is Product Review Saturday, and I have a new product I am really looking forward to reviewing today: my printer. I’ve had it for a little while now, I think it’s pretty handy and I look forward to letting all of you know what I think of it. Otherwise, I am going to go ahead and end this post now. Have a good weekend. Tomorrow will be Inspiring Business Sunday.

I know you must be wondering what exactly this is. If it wasn’t for having heard it from the artist herself, I wouldn’t know. This is a fish. That’s right. My little girl drew that and she told me that is supposed to be a fish. the 2 circles are the eyes, the point on the other end is the tail. Get it? It’s okay if you don’t, I’m still proud of her art.

Blog Update
Before I continue on with my post for the night, I wanted to let everyone know of a little change I plan to make around here.
No more WAHM Saturday.
Why? Because it was starting to feel a little lame. I will still feature the wahm business spotlight on Ask Angel but not here. I also will not be featuring wahm business news either.
Instead of all that I am going to take a new approach. On Saturday I will take the time to review one product from my life. I will take a photo of it and write a review about it.
You might be wondering why, and that’s a simple answer: Who doesn’t want to know about products that work and don’t work? Reviews are a great way to find out if something might be worth the investment. I want to put in my own two cents, and now I will do it once a week on this website. I will be fine tuning my review process over the next few Saturdays. I have a general idea of how I want to set it up to categorize different aspects of a product and try to cover everything all-around.
