Mod Note
As a work at home mom there is so much that I do, and so many things that I think others would relate to if I chatted about it. Normally if I decide to take on a new personal writing task I do it here but this time I decided to go a different route. I have created an account at Xomba called mompreneur and from there I hope to write about my adventures as a mompreneur, gain some new interest in all of my websites (as well as my writing services) and just all around try a new route in my work at home quest.
If you’re an aspiring work at home anyone, or just interested in my adventures as one, please stop by my Xomba account and check out what I have to say. I hope to update it as regularly as possible. It will always be topic specific to me as a mompreneur and other work at home issues I feel like chatting about.
Of course this does not mean I won’t mention anything work related here, I still will. Think of mompreneur at Xomba as wahm related articles.

Personal Thoughts
- Twitter
I have become more and more addicted to Twitter. I can’t help it. There is something about micro-blogging that makes me happy. Although, if I thought I was addicted before finding out there is TwitPic which lets me post photos to Twitter, I am a goner now. I’m obsessed and in love. I have been taking pictures and sending them to TwitPic for the heck of it. People on my Twitter list must think I have lost it. I just can’t resist the pull it has on me. Especially when my photo blog stopped working when I would email photos for upload to it. Lets just say TwitPic and Twitter have become my new photo blog, as well as a way to network with people and promote my work.
I love things that work as an all in one.
- Poison Ivy
I haven’t been able to get rid of this poison ivy rash yet. It is doing better, I don’t itch 24/7 anymore, but it’s still there and it’s still irritating. I can only assume that sweating like a pig while moving heavy objects into the new place did not help it any and possibly made it worse.
I will be happy once this clears up. It must be on it’s way, though. If it wasn’t clearing up I wouldn’t be sleeping through the night as I do now. Before I went to the doctor for it I would wake up at 5am to put on more hydrocortisone and go back to sleep. I will avoid anything that looks like ivy again, I swear, if this case will clear up for me!
- Coffee
When this weeks Product Review Saturday comes around, I already know what I will be reviewing. I did an interview with a very nice person who owns his own coffee business. He sent me 2 free bags of coffee on the house and oh my goodness is the stuff good! I couldn’t believe how good it tasted. I can’t wait to share my review on here. I may have been won over. More so, I may start purchasing the stuff because it is that good and worth the extra money.
- Sponsored Posts
I have been playing with the idea of doing sponsored posts on this blog. As everyone knows, I already do them on Ask Angel. The money helps with our essentials and at times what I write about is interesting. I have been avoiding doing full-time sponsored posts on here because, unlike Ask Angel, this is a personal blog. On Ask Angel it’s easy to turn something I am paid to write about into a post that is informative and shares advice in some form or another.
I am currently on sponsored ad vacation on Ask Angel as I am currently on full vacation there from the move. Once I am back I might sign up Demandez L’Ange to be included in the pool to receive sponsored post assignments.
If I decide to go this route, I will mention something before they start. As a rule the full site disclosure covers any advertising that might be placed here, so there is no tag on the post itself to mention what is and is not advertising. In the end, the extra money would really help us out as times are a bit financially tough but I don’t want to completely lose the integrity of my personal blog.
I think it’s time for me to get going for the evening. I would like to get a post up as mompreneur on Xomba before the night is over and I turn off the computer. I hope you’re having a good evening and I’ll see you again hopefully tomorrow,
