As you can see, this is a Walmart. It’s actually our local walmart. I was waiting in the car for mom at the time and decided to take a picture for fun. Not too bad considering it was through the windshield of our car.
No matter how hillbilly it sounds, I go to Walmart for pretty much everything. Everything else I get at Save-A-Lot. Those two stores I could not live without. Well, I suppose I couldn’t live without Goodwill either. They have quite a bit too that is great when I find it. When I have time, and I remember, I’ll be sure to get pictures of the other places.
Personal
You would not believe the sunburn I got today. I took Aubree outside this afternoon to play for a bit. Our usual outside time. I knit for a little bit while she plays on her outside toys. That was fun for her, and the sun felt good on my skin; until I realized I got burned. I now look pretty red, cooked lobster red to be exact.
Sunburns generally don’t bother me. They don’t hurt. I just hate hearing about Melanoma, and all those skin cancers. I generally don’t stay outside long enough to get more than a light shade of tan. The sun must have been extra intense today.

As Aubree’s second outside time and my second break for the day I got out her bike. Well, I finally taught her to steer herself; petal and steer. That is a huge accomplishment for her. She had so much fun and she was so proud of herself too. I wanted to take a photo but there was another thing she also learned: How to ride faster than mom walks. So I was running after her trying to make sure she didn’t go too far down the driveway. She’s my big girl!

Tomorrow will be an exciting day, but unfortunately that has to do with my secret so I still can’t talk about it. It will be exciting though, and I wish I could. I will soon enough, promise.

I am impressed with how well Ask Angel is doing. I think the quality of my articles has gone up. I have learned a lot since I started writing there in December of 2006. I’ve really grown in many ways over the short period of time, and I think I am still learning. I will definitely buy more books as soon as I have a little more money to afford it. Right now I can’t, but I owe a lot to my Writers Digest membership. They have some great books for writers.

Then there is the Ask Angel WAHM Business Directory. That is doing great! More mom-owned businesses are getting in. I used to have a hard time finding businesses to add, now they are finding me pretty easily. I am excited about that. I’m glad to see that is going so well. Hopefully things will continue to grow there.
Today’s update wasn’t the most exciting for others, but I must say I enjoyed it. I may not be writing tomorrow as I have some plans that will interrupt my work for a little bit during the day, but I will try if I get the opportunity. Otherwise, have a great night everyone.
