I’ve been more unavailable than usual, but I’m making the time to take a moment and post.
This week of business styles posts that I’ve been doing has been keeping me busy. Monday’s is up, and Today’s is up. Monday I wrote about MLM also known as Network Marketing. Today I wrote about Franchising. I did a lot of internet searching for information. So I think I succeeded at making these articles good resources for anyone looking for information about those two things. Friday I intend to write about sole proprietorship versus LLC.
I’ve been enjoying myself a lot writing about this stuff. I don’t know a whole lot about business styles, but with what I do know mixed with great resources I’ve found on the internet, and I think I’ve managed to create very filling posts on these topics.
Beyond all that, mom has been home which is a big reason why I haven’t been around. But I will be on tomorrow to write some and get other things I need to do, done. Have a great night all.

The weekend is usually my time off work. All I did was work. Not the traditional work. I did some updating to all my blogs. Including this one. You may have noticed some youtube ads above the comments section? That was something new I decided to add. Besides being advertising, I thought it was a unique form of advertising. Something different and interesting. Feel free to let me know what you think of it.
On top of the updating I also submitted my blogs to some directories. I do that whenever I have some extra time. I’m hoping to up my PR again since it dropped back when google redid whatever it was they did that lowered the PR of many websites.
I had 7 sponsored posts to do at Ask Angel this weekend as well. The fun thing with that, though, is that most of them were very interesting and it felt more like I was writing another advice post than anything else. I like it when the advertisers are interesting. Either way, I split up those posts between yesterday and today because 7 is a lot to write.
Then my friend called me today to see if I can work for her tonight. She’s sick. Of course I’ll fill in for her, she filled in for me when I was. I don’t mind doing her a favor. I just don’t feel like working tonight, lol. She’ll work Wednesday for me. On top of that I need to tell my boss that on Thursday I won’t be there until 7 or a little after. Mom has to work until 6 and she probably won’t be home until a little after 7. Then I’ll have to fly through everything at work. My friend was going to take that day to make up for me working today for her, but I told her not to worry about it. It’d be too much trouble for her to fill in for me that day and I would feel really bad about everything she’d have to go through just to work that day for me. I’d rather just show up late. And mom is home Tuesday/Wednesday and if she fills in for me on Wednesday I’ll only have to worry about the things I need to do for Dane. It’ll give me more time to get things done for him that night.
While I’m thinking about it, if you’re looking for information about the styles of business opportunities available then check out Ask Angel over the next week. If you own a business that offers business opportunities or you’re a representative for a business that offers them, check out this post for some more information.
While I am thinking of it, starting February first we’ll have sound ads on all my websites within the network. I’m just testing them out. I will be posting a poll on all my blogs to get feedback on what people think of them once they start. It’s a new thing that I found out about and it sounded interesting. So there’ll be more information about that soon. Keep your eyes [and ears] open for that.

Has anyone noticed the changes I made? If not, check out the image to the left. I’ve circled the changes in red.
Although small, I think these changes help a little with organization. At the top bar I thought it’d be nice to have in-blog links there. Rather than having links to my other blogs which I’ve decided to list on the left, where the other red circled area is at. I have too many websites and blogs to link to, they wouldn’t all fit in the top bar. I wanted to be able to link to them so anyone who visits will know where else I can be found at within the network of blogs/websites that I own.
As for the top bar, I wanted to make certain pages more obvious. Like the disclosure policy, for instance. It’s important to read. And my link exchange page, I want people to know that I am more than happy to do a link exchange.
Anyway, I hope the changes help make things look more organized and easier to find.

The Bad
The water seems to have stopped working. I went to give Aubree a bath this morning, no water. Go figure. I’ll tell mom when she gets home so she can call the landlord. I need a shower. Boo.
I absolutely hate doing bottle and can returns at work. Hate’s not even a strong enough word to describe it. I absolutely despise it. If someone brings in cans we can’t accept, and it’s usually on purpose, they get not so happy over it. The worst part is that the people who usually return bottles and cans are using that money to buy more beer because they’re alcoholics. It’s the worst part of working with the public. One guy, who was nice although an alcoholic, got a little grumpy when I asked my boss to look at a bottle he returned because I couldn’t find the return thingy and I just wanted a second opinion because I didn’t think that he’d purposely return an out of state can. Instead of being nice I get met with, “I bought that here” and “If it’s that big of a deal, forget it.” One, it has a meijer price tag on it and two, it wasn’t a big deal. I was asking out of niceness. I should have just assumed it was an Indiana bottle and told my boss.
I hate bottle returns with a passion. I wish I didn’t have to do them. And my bit of getting panicky around people that I had in school is starting to come back. I’m very unhappy about that. I can feel myself withdrawing in a way that I used to when I was around large groups of people, except I’m not around large groups now. I’m just getting way too stressed out for no reason.
The Good
I, however, have got good news. I got a thing in the mail that was for writing books. Books on writing articles, stories, etc. A gold mine in my opinion. I love to write and the offer was buy one book and get 3 free. With shipping it cost me $19.95. So I decided to do it. I picked out 4 books that interested me the most and mailed in the order form with a check yesterday. I can barely wait to get the books. One books is on writing magazine articles. And I like the idea of writing articles more than books, so I am particularly looking forward to that one the most.
I need to go if I want to get any other stuff done. Have a great weekend!

Yesterday was my payday, and even though I thought the bank would have been closed because it was Martin Luther King JR day, it wasn’t. So I was able to cash my check and go shopping for things we needed. And a couple unneeded.
As you know, I’m trying to potty train Aubree. She’s getting better about being ready, but she’s still not potty trained. So when I saw a Dora the Explorer potty chair, I had to get it. And it has helped in the way I’d hoped. Aubree wants to sit on it because it’s Dora. She’s very excited about it. I only wish that she’d tell me she had to go potty, if she really did. Sometimes she’ll say she needs to, but doesn’t. Or she won’t tell me until after she’s already gone potty.
Anyway, back to the shopping. I found a toaster oven for $8 at goodwill. I haven’t plugged it in yet. I will probably test it today to see if it works. But if it works, that’s a pretty good deal. The toaster oven looks newish. Used/new. Better than nothing. Also considering the fact that our old toaster oven fried and had to be thrown away.
I also got a good deal on something called “Lip Vitamins”. I got 5 of the lip oils for $1.50. They were shown to be originally $6. Goodwill had marked them as $3, but it was blue tags half off the price and it was half off. The lip oils, as it says, works good and feels good on my lips. It came with Coconut, Passion Fruit, Mango, Kiwi and Mixed Berry. Mom asked me for one and I ended up giving her Passion Fruit. It also came with a nice little makeup bag to hold them in. A good deal, I think.
I also decided to use a coupon I had where I got $2 off if I bought 2 post-it flag products. I use the post-it flags in my planner to mark the month pages in between the daily planner days. So I figured I’d need them sooner or later, why not get $2 off now. And I bought some paper that has some color to it. I got sick of the plain white paper for when I write my penpals. So I bought a thing of purple pads of paper and the other is 3 pads of rainbow colored paper. I can afford it, so I figured why not.
Beyond that I picked up a lot of groceries and other things we needed. Including some sherbet, which I love a lot.
While I was gone I had the computer set up to finish updated Trivucation which it did, but I didn’t get home until after mom was already home. So I wasn’t able to finish the update until last night. But that is up and running. I will be posting trivia for yesterday as well as today there later on today. I’ve got a few other things to do and the laundry repair guy will be here soon to check out our washer and dryer.
Oh, I’ve got good news! Our car has been fixed. The problem isn’t exactly what we though, and it was cheaper and easier to fix. So the car is home and well. Yay.
I need to go get some things done before the repair guy shows up. Until later.

I’ve finished the update for here and now it’s onto Trivucation. So the downtime is now over. I really like the updated version of wordpress. I wish I’d updated sooner. But I just didn’t have the time for all those months. All I had time to do was get in what I could in a short period of time. Either way, I am glad to finally made the update. I think it’s pretty neat. Although I am a little curious, what are the tags for? Is it for places like technorati that uses them or is their some new post filing system here?
Either way, I’m off to finish the other updates so I can go on with everything else I need to get done.

Right now I am in the process of updating wordpress for Ask Angel. I will be doing it for all my blogs. Including this one and Trivucation as well. So beware of down time everywhere today.
The updates are long overdue for every blog I own right now. I don’t like doing updates to wordpress because it takes a lot of time to do all the blogs, and I don’t usually have that kind of time. Today I figured I should make that kind f time, though. I had to update a friends blog for him and that’s when I realized exactly how far behind it was.
Beyond all the updating I’m doing, my life isn’t all that exciting right now. Mom took the car to get fixed and she’s borrowed her friends’ car. Which I would have been able to drive to work but the thing is a standard and guess who doesn’t know how to drive a car that’s not an automatic? Me. So mom will be driving me to work and picking me up after work. That’ll be… fun. Heh. At least it’s only for 2 days.
We’ve got new neighbors and I must say, the hammering is really freakin annoying. It sounds like someone is beating on our door. And it seems to keep going through the day until evening. It’s a trailer. Their’s not that much to hammer!
I will be updating this blog really soon, so I’m going to run now. And I am getting a call. So have a great day everyone.

I’ve got good news, I’m feeling better than I was the last time I wrote. I called Heather and she worked Wednesday in my place. Their was no way I could have survived through it. So yesterday when I went to town I got some good cold meds - Zicam is my new best friend - took it and felt better. I used the on the go spoon dose. It gets added to an 8oz drink, etc. Anyway, it tastes like butt if you follow the instructions and lick the excess off the spoon. So stir longer than 30 seconds and use a hot drink if you ever try it.
Anyway, I am feeling better and better each day now. And with any luck I will be over this darn cold as soon as humanly possible.
At the store yesterday I bought the best candy every. Burnt Peanuts. Sometimes the word “French” is thrown in front of the description as well. Either way, I love them. If you find them, try them. Just to warn you, they’re hard to chew.
Anyway, I am going to go. I have 4 people to write, I work tonight to make up for taking Wednesday off, and I’ve got way too much to do and too little time to do it in.

Yes, that is my nose.
So why the attention to it? Because it can’t seem to either stop running or unstuff itself. No matter how many times I blow it.
It just goes to figure that right after I got over the post-nasal drip I get hit with a freakin cold. All last night I kept waking up and having to blow my nose because it got too stuffy to tolerate.
I am seriously thinking that going into the cooler at work is what is causing me to get sick. I don’t think I could bundle up any more than I already do, though. I wear my hoodie, gloves and earmuffs so I can keep the cold out of my ears. I would wear my coat, but it’s got pockets that get caught on the boxes and such as I walk by. The last thing I need is a box of beer in glass bottles falling.
I’ve got more than enough to get done today, so I am going to go. But I hope everyone stays healthier than I am right now.

Every morning Aubree begs for cereal. Not just once in a while, every darn morning. And for some reason that turns out to be the funniest moment she has all day. The real kicker had to be yesterday:
“Mommy… where’d the milk go? It’s all gone!”
That was her reaction after she’d drank all the milk out of her cereal leaving just a lot of mushy cereal behind.
Of course I’m the loving mom who let her know that she either drank it or it grew legs and walked off.
The funny thing is, when mom is home she asks for oatmeal with blueberries.
Well, that’s more than enough about food. And I’m sure that was more than enough unwanted look into our mornings. So I am going to run now and get a few more things done before the end of today.
