Happy Holidays!
It’s Christmas so I had to get pictures of Aubree opening presents, as you can see. Feel free to check out all of my photos over at Flickr. What Aubree opened today isn’t all of her presents. I gave her most of her gifts before christmas and mom want to wait until tomorrow to give her the things from her so she can be home to see her open them. Tomorrow is her day off.
Speaking of days off, I don’t have to work today. It means I’ll only have a 3 day week, but I’m kind of glad to have it off. Not because of the holiday but because my knee is acting up and it hurts for me to stand to long right now. Hopefully it will be better by tomorrow night.
Okay, as for my glasses, I have to get an all new eye exam and so on. Boo. It’ll cost me over a $100 for the eye exam, cheapo frames and lenses. I’ve gotta wait until I have enough cash to pay for it all. Thankfully that industrial strength craft glue seems to be holding it together quite well. Hopefully it can last until I get the glasses. It probably won’t be until the first or second week of next month.
I got my MP3 player yesterday. I am thrilled. It rocks. I love it. I got a couple of my CDs on it as well as some MP3’s I downloaded. I want to get some more music today to put on it. Especially since I don’t have to work tonight I have that little bit of extra time to download a few songs today.
And in some more good news, I also got the package a friend sent to me. She gave Aubree a cute stuffed monkey and she gave me a very nice stationary with matching envelopes set. I love it!
