The “mystery item” this week is still going on over at Angel’s Crafted Creations. Just as a reminder, it is an item that’s only $3 with free shipping. It’ll end on Monday, so hurry before the deal is over!
I also finally started an ebay auction to sell a scarf I made. Please feel free to check it out here. Their are no bids yet, and I started it out at $8. It took 3 things of red heart brand fuzzy yarn to make this thing. The yarn is usually found at the store for $4-5 each. It’s not cheap yarn, and I’ve started the auction at $8, so it’d definitely be a steal for anyone that won the auction. :D As of this moment, their’s a week left on the auction.
Over at Ask Angel I put together a list of auction websites that are free, unlike ebay. It cost me $.80 to list an item which is a bit much in my opinion. Then on top of that they take a percentage of what you get for your item. Their is one website I’m interested in checking out. Their’s a one time fee of $5 to get your account verified for selling, but you’ll stay verified unless your personal information changes. As I see it, it’d be cheaper to do it that way and list as many free auctions as I want over paying $.80 per ebay auction whether or not the item sells. The place is called WeBidz, in case you want to check it out too, but I don’t intend to look further into them until I see how my ebay auction turns out. after all, the one thing that ebay has and no one else does is that they are the most popular auction site on the web. That’s why they can get away with their fees, unfortunately.
I think the last time I made an entry, I mentioned that I was working on a baby coat? Either way, I’ve decided to take a break on that. I went shopping on Wednesday and about froze my butt off. Well, my ears. So I decided it was time for me to attempt making a knit hat for myself, and I did. I think it came out quite well. I’ll post a photo of it here as soon as I get a photo taken. Right now I am recharging my camera batteries. Either way, I am now working on knitting a matching scarf to go with my new hat.
I’m telling you, with the way my hat turned out, I’ll definitely have to make some knit hats to sell on my website. They looked great and I think they could be a big hit. I have some yarn I think could make some nice looking, warm, hats. That’s definitely a future project for me, probably after the baby coat.
The thing about Megan, the thing I talked about before where that Lori woman harassed her online by pretending to be a boy that liked her through MySpace, her story is definitely getting around. They’ve talked about it on the news as well as on the Mike and Juliet morning show. I also do not support vigilantism, and posting this evil womans’ address was wrong, but what she did was wrong. And I wish people would stop saying “alleged.” Only for the fact that, how alleged is it when the person admits to what they’ve done? You’d think that admittance would eliminated alleged from the equation. Either way, all the talk and support for Megans mom has lit a fire under the law to do something, and am I glad.
And that’s my bit for today. Breakfast is calling my name, and Aubree is trying to climb stuff again, so it’s time for me to run. Have a great day everyone.

I am pretty excited. On Saturday I got 1 of 2 boxes of checks I ordered, Monday I got the 2nd box I ordered and today I got my 210 free labels that came with ordering 2 or more boxes of checks through them. The labels are what won me over, I had like 20 checks left before the end of my last book. It took me over a year to use 25 checks in the first place. So now I’m trying to use up the last of these checks so I can start using my very pretty angel checks. I am really thrilled about the labels because they’re angels, it’s not directly related to Christmas, but it is Christmas appropriate. All I had before these new labels were spring flower labels.
I bought my checks through Checks Unlimited. I really don’t have many complaints, but their is one thing that bugged me about my checks. Their’s a spot over the signature area that’s supposed to say “Free Style Checking” which describes the type of checking account I have with my bank. They managed to get those words so close to the line where you write the dollar amount that it actually overlaps the word “dollars” at the end of the line. I thought about contacting them to mention their printing mistake, but I’m going to let it slide. It doesn’t really bother me and the word “dollars” is still readable.
What would you do? Would you call and complain or would you let it slide like me? Have you ever bought anything through Checks Unlimited before? How was your experience? Don’t worry, this isn’t a sponsored post or anything. Just hoping to start a little discussion at least.

I haven’t been up this early since, well it’s been a long time. So maybe you can guess the big event for today? No? Today was mom’s first day back to work. It feels kind of strange to not have her home. Aubree seemed okay with it. She even went out of her way to let me know that “Granny at work”.
In different news, I am excited to report that I’ve sold my first link at Ask Angel’s Link Directory. That’s kind of exciting. I wasn’t sure if having a link directory would work out, so I made it to give it a try. And I’m very happy to see that I’ve succeeded at getting one bid from someone. Maybe now it’ll build up some more, and more people will make bids.
It’s sad, I started this something like 2 hours ago. Yeah, I started at 8:17a, and now it’s almost 10a. I get distracted pretty easily I suppose.
Now that I have all this extra time to work on stuff today, I am going to do a virus and spyware scan of the computer today. It really needs it. First, though, I need to make a post on Ask Angel. People will probably be shocked considering it has been a long time since I last made a post during the day, rather than late at night.

As I’ve mentioned before, I have a blog called 100 words where I post 100 words a day. This entry isn’t about that as much as where I have the blog at: Nutang. It is an invite only, paid to blog type of site. Most of all, it’s a great community of people. I can guarantee that you can make new friends through this website.
I know people tend to have a hard time finding an invite to join when they want to, so I just wanted to make it known that I have:
5 invitations.
If you’d like an invitation, feel free to leave me a comment with your email address or you can email me at angel@angelashupe.com with your request for an invitation.

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you’ve all gotten to eat all the yummy foods you love, and didn’t stuff yourself too bad.
I didn’t do anything too special. I’m working on a fuzzy knit scarf that I plan to put up in my estore once I am finished. It’s coming out well. I don’t think it’d really keep you warm, but it’s a great item for those that want a scarf that just looks good. Since these fuzzy scarves are so popular now-a-days, I bet their will be someone who buys it.
It’s time for me to take off. Enjoy the rest of your Holiday!

Wired wrote an update on what I’d written about yesterday. This time is has to do with the woman who pretended to be a boy through myspace that liked a 13 year old girl who was friends with her daughter. Which, by the way, the name of evil is Lori Drew.
Other angry bloggers like me have dug in and found out information about this woman, some even finding their address, phone number, business info and client info for their advertising agency.
I hope in a huge way the clients of that families’ advertising business back out of their contracts with these terrible people. Make them feel a hurt that is deserved.
Although anyone who sent death threats, set fires or threw the brick through their window went too far, I am thrilled to hear about the peaceful protest on their street.
Considering how open the internet is, I hope everyone continues to speak out about the terrible thing Lori Drew did. I hope she’ll feel shamed when she walks out the front door of her home. She deserves it. She may not be a convicted murderer, even in an offhanded way, but she couldn’t get any closer. She intentionally pushed this 13 year old girl over the edge mentally until this young girl ended her life. In my eyes she is a murder and although I don’t promote violence, their is nothing wrong with information.
As long as I hear new things about this, I will share it. If you’re unsure how to feel about this, take a second to think about how this would affect you if this woman had done this to your child knowing that your child is a bit depressed and knowing the right things to say to push your child over the edge. How would you feel? Wouldn’t you want someone like that to suffer as you must because they drove your child to suicide?
Although some people have gone too far, I still feel she is getting everything she deserves.
You can find the wired article I mentioned here.

Every so often I come across something that just invokes a lot of anger in me. And reading about this made me furious. I originally read a different article about this yesterday, but when I saw something somewhere else about this again today I just knew I had to mention it here.
A young 13 year old girl committed suicide after someone she’d been talking to online started saying very cruel things to her.
That’s very sad in it’s own right, but the fact that the person behind this myspace “Josh” persona was actually the mother of a friend of hers whom she’d recently got into a fight with is just down right… I don’t know if their is a word for it.
This grown woman pretended to be a boy that was interested in this 13 year old girl for a period of time when one day “Josh” started saying the mean things to her that just pushed her over the edge and she killed herself.
Even worse is that their is not a thing that can be done about it because it’s not illegal for grown adults to harass children online in that manner.
Of course this woman has not apologized. Not according to what I’ve read. Quite honestly, I wish the family of the 13yr old girl the best of luck showing everyone in their neighborhood what type of vindictive bitch their very own neighbor is. No adult in their right mind should do a thing like that. None. This woman is a terrible person and I hope she will be forced to face up to what she knowingly did by saying the things she did to someone she must have known was seriously depressed in the first place. She doesn’t have the excuse of having not known considering her child was friends with this girl.
Everyone is going to have their own thoughts on this, but mine will not change. This woman, a mom, will be considered a piece of trash in my eyes.
A quick google news check will probably show you a few articles on this, but click here to see the article that reminded me about this.

No, they’re not really. I just couldn’t think of a good topic for this post, lol.
It’s not total nonsense, though. I’ve just finished a knit teddy bear that I am going to send a friend of mine. I forgot to take a photo of it when I was done, so I’ll try to remember to get a photo of it tomorrow.
It is seriously the best bear I’ve knit to this point. It came out real well. I almost kept it for myself. Okay, not really… but it was very tempting. I’m thinking of making one for Aubree. I’d save it for her birthday, though. Her birthday is 2 weeks after Christmas. When she’d get pretty much everything for xmas then, I could save the one gift for her birthday.
When I was pregnant I wanted to have her on Christmas so I wouldn’t have to worry about birthday gifts for her so close after the holiday was over. Instead as I look at the calender, Christmas will be on a Tuesday and exactly 2 weeks later on a Tuesday, it’ll be her birthday. Go figure, lol. Too far away to just celebrate it on Christmas.
Now it’s time for me to get going. I’ll try to write again on Thanksgiving. So until them, I hope everyone gets to eat lots of yummy foods. I know I’m going to miss pumpkin pie and candied yams this year.

I’m sorry to say that I don’t have anything to actually talk about. But I suppose I can think of something
The first thing is going to be my very low weight loss for this week. I only lost 2 lbs over the past week, but that’s better than nothing or worse, gaining.
In the world of my estore, Angel’s Crafted Creations, I added something new to my inventory. I knit a teddy bear and listed it up on the store. It came out really good, I think.
While on that topic, I must say that I’m a little bummed because I haven’t sold anything yet. On the other hand, though, I have noticed that my items are getting viewed and such. So it’s only a matter of time and I’m sure someone is bound to buy one of my creations. Maybe once I get the ebay auction for my shawl up, it’ll help. In a way, I’d rather wait until I had more variety on my store before I list it, but mom wants me to list her quarter and I’d rather not do that until I’ve figured out how listing an auction on ebay works since I’ve never done it before.
I’ve got a lot to do tonight, I’m sorry. I really don’t want to cut this short, but it’s going to be a busy night. I’ll be writing again soon!

On my 100 words blog I wrote about a telemarketer call I’d just received before I connected to the internet. It’s kind of funny if you’d like to read it.
As you probably realize, I post in at least 5 blogs a week day. Ask Angel, this one, 100 words, and the two other blogs I get paid to post on. So I write well over 100 words a day in blogs alone. That doesn’t count my offline journal and letters. So I really have to wonder sometimes, why do I keep a 100 word blog where I write 100 words only. I’ve done this for 248 days over there.
In a way I enjoy writing there every day. By doing that I make sure I am always writing something. Writing is my favorite thing to do.
I think trying to write 100 words a day is a good habit for everyone to take up. But is it really something I need? The average person doesn’t blog or write as much as me per day. That is why the average person should try to write a little each day.
Let me ask my readers, do you think it’s a good habit to write a little every day or do you think it’s a stupid habit?
