I noticed that I don’t write much about my romp in the land of working from home. You’d think I would, considering that is how I make my living. Quite honestly, I’m not really sure what I am when it comes to this venture for making an income [or a good attempt at it]. What exactly would I be labeled?
Entrepreneur?
Business Woman?
No. I’m not either of those things. I’m not even 100% sure I could be considered a work at home mom.
I make money from blogging. Not so much blogging but the sponsored posts on my blogs. Ad space makes me money. Not to mention the Ad Sales Rep job and blogging for Dane’s WAHM blog. I suppose that last part would make me a work at home mom, though I don’t really make all that much from those. I don’t really make all that much from sponsors either.
This is when I need to consider what I want to be. It is my ultimate dream to succeed in the blogging world. To make not just money, no. To make a living from my websites.
Their is nothing better than to enjoy something. But to enjoy something and to make a business of it is exciting. I never want to stop blogging, I never want to give up Ask Angel [the most popular part of this blog network]. I love it. I also have to admit I love the money that comes in from it too.
So what am I? I’m a dreamer. I have hopes, I have dreams, and I have the motivation to do what I can to try to make that dream come true. And hopefully, in the near future, I’ll be able to call what this love for blogging a business.
I really wanted Miss China or Miss Tazmania, but I am not disappointed. Japan is absolutely beautiful and I had a feeling she might win. A big congratulations to our new Miss Universe.
I really wonder at times if the only reason why Miss USA always seems to make it to the final 5 [or atleast it happened last year and this year] is just because she’s from the USA. I really have to wonder because their are so many much more beautiful women that don’t even make it to the top 15, but it never fails for Miss USA to make it.
Their is nothing like free stuff. Even better is a game with a fun twist. If you don’t know how auctions work, the highest bid on an item gets to buy it.
Their is something out there that is different though. It’s a bid site, but it’s not. It’s a Sweepstake with a bidding twist. Fun for all that play. It is called Bid4Prizes.

Getting the chance to win free stuff is always fun. Who doesn’t want free stuff? It’s always so cool.
I’m always on the look out for a couple cool new ways to make a little extra money. When I came across this one, I just couldn’t resist checking it out. I definately found out that I haven’t seen something like this before.
This is called Adventure11. It’s an internet surfing game. You can earn money, prizes and so on just from this. Not to mention it’s free to join. From surfing you can win anywhere from $2 to $500. If you’re the type to want to advertise things, you can make money on referrals.
This is so different and bordering on absolutely unique that even I am going to sign up after I am done writing this post. I’ll be sure to write more about it once I’ve joined and checked it out. It sure does sound like it’ll be interesting, atleast!
One of the best things I’ve ever received from a friend I got in the mail about a week ago. Have you ever been curious about the catalog that Wile E. Coyote bought is traps and such from? A penpal of mine had bought the book and recently sent it to me. It has got to be the best book I’ve ever read.
Ever wondered about that crazy anvil? It goes from 16oz to 3,000 lbs. Well this catalog lists it as costing$24.99 plus $245.00 shipping and handling. What about that fake hole we all know and love? $5.99 plus $1.00 shipping and handling. Who couldn’t love a few fake holes. They could really come in handy. Like to drop your annoying brother down it, lol.

Who do you think builds wordpress layouts? Who do you think builds the fancy looking websites? They can be people just like you and me, but they have a knowledge we don’t have. The knowledge of coding. Whether it’s the simple HTML, or Java, CSS, and so on. They’re people that understand the stuff to make these nice layouts or those cool websites we see on the internet. Better yet, they make a good chunk of money for what they can do.
I’m not exactly ignorant when it comes to some coding ways. By taking a look at something “behind the scenes” I can usually figure out alot of stuff on my own. I never knew how the templates used on wordpress blogs worked until I looked at the coding behind it. It didn’t take me long to figure out how to alter things and where to alter them at. I’m not going to run out and start trying to make themes for money, but atleast I’ve figured out some of the basics.
Just as their are communities like myspace and facebook, their are also communities for those that are interested in coding whether it’s for programming, web building or any other type of coding you can think of. A place like < / dream.in.code > is a programming and web development community where you can ask questions or just have conversations with other people that know as much as [if not more than] you on the variety of coding topics there are.
For those that are trying to learn about these types of things, going to a community like that can also help you learn what you would need to know to build your own website or even game. By getting the behind the scenes help, you can start on something that would be your own unique creation instead of having to rely on others. Best of all, to join a forum like this is free.
My birthday has come and gone. My daughter was extra bad and no one but my dad remembered to wish me a happy birthday. Everyone else I had to remind. My mom even forgot to wish me a happy birthday, lol.
That’s alright, though, because even I almost forgot it was my birthday on my birthday. I went about my daily life and some time right before a friend stopped by I remembered that it was indeed my birthday.
I have a very picky daughter, to top things off. Right now is a good example. She’s throwing a fit because her bagel broke in half and she wants it to be whole while she eats it. She has already cried for 10 minutes over it. She was very much like that yesterday too. If only we could understand the mind of a 2 year old.
I’m starting to go through a point where I miss having a pet. It happens every so often. I can’t have a cat, or a dog. A bird is out of the question. I couldn’t afford a ferret, ever. Not to mention they’re worse than a cat.
My succulent that I have is growing! That’s probably the most exciting thing going on with me right now. I have an indoor plant that is actually not only living, but growing. That makes me pretty happy.
As you already know, I’m a mom. And as a mom, my daughter needs stuff. Way too much stuff, lol.
Because I like to shop for things in the cheapest way possible, I’ve used coupons more than once to get things I need and she needs at a discount. I was recently presented with a website called CouponChief.com which has lists upon lists of coupon codes that you can use when ordering online at a variety of websites. I’m just too darn thrilled because alot of these coupons would actually make lots of items alot cheaper than they would be even in the store.
I was looking around the baby, kids & toys coupon section and I found some coupons for places like babycenter which is offering 15% off select items. Then for books and such they even have the scholastic store which is offering free shipping on orders $20 or more. The coupon that won me over the most, though, was the children’s place. I have always loved their kids stuff, and they have items on sale for $8, $7, $6, and even $5.
I am so thrilled to have found out about this site. I plan to go back and check out deals on stuff when I have more time. I know for a fact I’ll be more than happy to put some of those coupon codes to use!
