This debate has been going on for a long time amongst mothers. Unfortunately it’s usually the stay-at-home mom that snarks against working moms.
“They don’t do anything with their children because they’re too busy working.”
Many comments like that have been used against the working mom. Their are also the comments that are made towards stay-at-home moms as well.
“They’re lazy. What are they going to do if they’re ever in a bind? They’ll never be able to get back into the work force.”
We’ve heard [or read] it over and over again. Quite simply, I just want to yell “STFU!” Why can’t we all just get along?
Working Moms: Their is nothing wrong with working and raising a family. It is a part of life. Do realize, though, that you do give up the opportunity to spend every second you can with your kids. On the other hand, daycare isn’t a bad thing. Besides school, that’s a great way for them to grow their social skills and to make friends.
Stay-at-home Moms: It is great that you have all the time in the world to do everything for your kid like super mom. It’s expecially special for them to be able to come to you whenever they need you. It must feel great to have no worries that if they’re sick, their’s no wondering who will take them. That still doesn’t make you any better than the mom who chooses to help support her family, though.
Both sides have their positives and negatives. Lets face it, we all make our choices and they’re ours to make. No need to berate people that do the opposite of us because we have our own opinions. Instead embrace the fact that they care about their families enough to do what they’re doing, whether it’s working for the income or staying home to care for the family.

I just got back from fishing. It’d been a while since I’ve fished, and the first time ever that I managed to catch 7 fish while fishing. 4 of them were right after another. I was pretty excited. Expecially since 2 were big enough to keep [though, I didn't keep'em].
While down there fishing we came across a huge toad. He had legs that were the size of what they serve at this chinese restaurant in Angola. After telling
him that I knew someone who has eatten his whole family whenever we go there, I grabbed a camera and took me some pictures of the dude. As you can see.
I’ve never seen a toad that big in our lake before, so that was pretty exciting. I’ll probably never see one that big again, either. In the second image, I circled where he’s at. That is where we found him.

All kids tend to have one thing they obsess about. Teddy bears, cartoon charaters, cats, dolls, whatever it is - kids tend to have atleast one favorite something.
My daughter is obsessed with Dora. She could watch her cartoons everyday. If I put in Dora at nap time, she will usually go to sleep to Dora. She has 2 Dora dolls she loves. She has one Dora pillow that is just basically a big Dora doll that she sleeps with.
Dora is big in our household.

I used to sign up with every free dating site I could find. Not because I was looking for a boyfriend or anything. More because I liked the idea of possibly meeting new people. I also found it pretty fun when I saw people I went to school with on those sites too.
I don’t sign up with them anymore, which is quite unfortunate. I’ve just been told about this neat free dating site called, JustSayHi. The best part is that they’re not like those other “free trial” dating sites. Or “free, but you can’t contact anyone unless you pay $50 a month”. They’re just simply free.
I wish I’d found out about this site sooner. If I had, I would have joined. As for all those people out there that enjoy these types of things, this is almost like hitting gold. Or atleast gold in the free dating world.

Dateline did a news piece on Don Imus. The guy who said the rude comment about the girls basketball team. At the end, they talked about this test that will tell you how you feel racially deep down.
Ideally, I would think being neutral would be best. Though some of the black participants were proud to lean more towards African American instead. Any white person who showed that they prefered European Americans, they felt bad because it might mean they’re racist deep down.
I will be bold and tell everyone that mine showed:
“Your data suggests a moderate automatic preference for European American compared to African American.”
I was slightly surprised. It was harder for me to use “Euro-American” as “Good” than it was for me to use “Afri-American” as “Good”. Could have been much weirder. My mom got, “Your data suggests a strong automatic preference for African American compared to European American.” My mom’s white. But my mom grew up with black neighbors and friends as a kid. DURING the 60’s and 70’s. Maybe living as “white trash”, or so what she’d have been considered back then, is why she feels the way she does deep down.
In a disclaimer, I’m so far from being racist it isn’t funny. Color isn’t important, we’re all human. That’s all that matters. We’re all the same because we’re all human beings. My friends are not just one color.
If you’d like to take the test and see how you do, you can find it here. Have fun. You never know, you might be very surprised at what you see!

I absolutely love reading weird news. The funny, the stupid, the just plain weird. It reminds me that mankind still has their faults. This is more of a funny than anything else, and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to post it.
Mankato Free Press:
Doug Guetzloe, one of central Florida’s most prominent political operatives (and a subject of investigations by the Florida Elections Commission and a highway agency in Orlando), had long eluded criminal charges by denying any knowledge of unethical activities that prosecutors were sure he was involved in. However, late last year, Guetzloe missed a payment on his rental storage locker, and 50 boxes of his personal and professional records were seized and auctioned for $10 to a curious citizen, who then gave them to Orlando’s WKMG-TV, which had several earlier investigations of Guetzloe still pending. Based on early readings of the storage-locker papers, Guetzloe was indicted for felony perjury in March, and the case continues.
